Maia's Party
Three weeks later Maia was baptized by her dad. It was such a wonderful occasion marred only by the tantrum I had after Seth locked me out of the house. Here is the scoop: I thought we were all driving together as a family. Seth had packed up both cars. Maia was in his car and the cake and cookies were in mine. We walked out of the back door together and he proceeded to get into his care. "Aren't we driving together?" I asked. "No. See you in a minute." Confused I started to put Sophie into her care seat , then realized that I did not have my keys. I tried opening the back door, but found it locked. With Sophie in my arms I marched over to the church and down the hall to where my unsuspecting husband was checking the font. Then I proceeded to let him have it. Poor guy. He really did not deserve it.

Your girls are darling! It sounds like Maia had a great 8th birthday. We hope to see you soon in Indiana!
I'm sorry. I don't think we are going to Indiana as we had originally planned. Sophie will not sleep in a hotel room and we can't handle sleepless nights. We miss you all and will see you in the future.
Congratulations! I still imagine Maia as the little Sunbeam that sat by Christine each week! But really it's Sophie that's about that age now!
Finally an update! I miss you four. We love you and can't wait to see you again. Tell Maia we love her and are proud of her. FYI, Emma has the same bedding as little miss Sophie, you have wonderful taste Janice.
Happy Birthday Maia! Sounds like a great party! Glad you let Seth have it, sounds like something Dan would do :)
